Story

Moon Lethe fell to the outbreak of the universe's most terrifying killing machines - Xenomorphs. As a player, you take command of a squad of Colonial Marines. You're tasked to contain this outbreak and end the alien threat. If the entire Xenomorph hive with all the facehuggers, drones, praetorians and queen wasn't bad enough, Marines will have to deal with rouge humans, who want to take advantage of the ensuing chaos to profit themselves. But that's not all. There is a foe new to the alien franchise waiting in Aliens Dark Descent. Be prepared.

Gameplay

In Aliens Dark Descent you take command of a squad of Colonial Marines. The game has you explore vast open levels and eliminate any threats you encounter along the way. You will need to use strategic thinking to overcome your enemies, as you are severy outnumbered. Rely on your cunning and arsenal of deadly weapons, use unique skills of different classes, level up your characters and improve their armour and equipment. You'll need every trick up your sleeve.

The encounters are deadly and death is permanent. Enemies will not just rush blindly into your gunfire. They will adapt and try to use some dirty tricks of their own. Xenomorphs will use their numbers and mobility to corner and flank you, while hostile humans may use firepower to overwhelm you. The combat is in real-time so you have to be prepared. Set up dead zones and safe points. Use different gadgets and set up motion trackers. Explore thoroughly and find shortcuts that can save your life later on. And remember to never underestimate your enemies.
